Your role as HR-coordinator
In this role, you will lead and develop the local HR team in Waddinxveen, taking ownership of organizing, planning, and optimizing daily HR activities in the Netherlands. You will implement clear processes and coordinate key projects in line with our HR roadmap. Acting as both a team leader and a hands-on HR Business Partner, you will oversee the full HR lifecycle, including learning & development and organizational change initiatives. In doing so, you ensure seamless collaboration with managers, employees, and external service providers. You will report directly to the Head of People & Culture.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Head of People & Culture in implementing HR initiatives, projects, and policies.
- Lead, coach, and develop our local HR team of four (HR-Assistant, two HR-Specialists, and a Working Student), ensuring efficient and high-quality HR services while fostering collaboration and growth.
- Design, document, and implement HR processes, systems, and tools across the employee lifecycle, while driving continuous improvement and optimization.
- Act as a trusted HR-business partner for selected departments, providing first-line HR support and delivering projects in line with the People & Culture strategy and roadmap.
- Manage and evaluate external HR service providers (recruitment, payroll, legal, training & development).
- Ensure all HR processes and documentation are accurate, consistent, and compliant with Dutch labor law and CLA requirements.

With your balanced and diplomatic communication style, you build trust, manage different perspectives, and create alignment across teams. You combine fresh ideas with strategic thinking and thrive in an international, fast-paced HR environment. Furthermore, you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Several years of experience as HR Business Partner and/or HR Coordinator, ideally with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, Dutch labor law, works councils and CLA’s, plus experience in project management and HR policy implementation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect across cultures; a cooperative and collaborative mindset.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; fluency in English and Dutch required, German is a plus.
